PROJECTS FOR SCHOOLS 2024
New educational projects in the classroom, innovative activities with high pedagogical quality, and immersive educational courses for schools in Campania are coming in 2024: the Campania dei Festival Foundation promotes comprehensive training and, in agreement with educational institutions, local and national cultural centers, artists, operators, and businesses, will carry out numerous initiatives aimed at promoting culture. Starting in February, six new educational projects will involve 63 secondary schools in the Campania region, guiding approximately 2,300 students in multidisciplinary learning practices aimed at enhancing the unlimited potential and creativity expressed by the younger generation. Theater, music, dance, performing arts, cinema and audiovisual languages, books and publishing, enhancement of cultural heritage, organization of live entertainment events: these are the many areas of intervention covered by the initiatives planned for the various projects, which will be structured in modules of classroom teaching, theoretical lessons, laboratories, and practical workshops. From the classroom to the stage to the creation of short films, the activities will not only allow students to experiment with various forms of artistic expression and unleash their imagination, but will also assist them in cooperative learning and the development of critical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the aim of contributing to an integrated pedagogical approach to traditional study programs. Our vision is to inspire students through the unique experience of cultural practices, opening the doors to a world of unlimited creativity, encouraging self-expression, and celebrating art as a tool for personal growth and well-being. At the same time, students will be able to explore and discover the creative arts in the field by participating in on-the-job training aimed at planning and managing a youth festival.
03/03/2022 Request for participation in actions of cultural interest addressed to the municipalities of Campania - Supplementary actions to Procida Capital of Culture 2022
The symbolic start of Procida's year as Italian Capital of Culture was greeted, on Saturday January 22, with the simultaneous projection of the official logo and the claim "Culture does not isolate" on some of the most important monuments of Campania, which were illuminated in pink, in line with the thematic color of Procida 2022.
Organized in collaboration with the Campania Region and the Campania dei Festival Foundation, the event further illuminated the colonnade of the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola in Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace and Castel Sant'Elmo in Naples, the Temples of Paestum, the Royal Palace of Caserta, the Arch of Trajan in Benevento, the Castello Marchionale in Taurasi and the Casina Vanvitelliana in Bacoli. On the island of Procida, the special projection instead illuminated the village of Terra Murata.
